New Phase Energy is made up of former oil and gas, chemical and power executives with collectively over 100 years of experience in the fossil and renewable energy sectors. Over the past 20 years they have led successful multinational and start-up companies. They have overseen the development, construction and fielding of numerous advanced energy production technologies, securing billions of dollars in supportive private and public funding.
Jim Imbler
Jim is an energy industry executive with progressive experience in leadership, corporate strategy, and building of world class teams. As CEO of ZeaChem Inc. he led a team that successfully went from "test tubes" to operating 10 ton/day biorefinery in Boardman, OR. During his tenure as President of the Koch Industries Petroleum Group of Companies (Refining, Marketing, Pipelines, Asphalt, E&P, Commodity and Financial trading) his teams successfully implemented numerous acquisitions and major construction projects. Jim holds a B.S. degree in Chemical Engineering and an M.B.A., both from the University of Kansas.
Tim Eggeman
Tim has over twenty-five years of industrial experience in the traditional and renewable chemicals and energy sectors. His prior experience includes positions at ZeaChem, Coors Brewing, and Burns & McDonnell, as well as extended consulting with ConocoPhillips and the National Renewable Energy Laboratory. Tim holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Illinois, a M.S. and Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Kansas, and is a registered Professional Engineer in Colorado.
Joe Regnery
Joe has over twenty-five years of experience providing finance, business development, legal and regulatory guidance to the traditional and renewable energy sectors. He has held executive management, project/product line management and counsel positions with ZeaChem, Sulde Ridge Investments, Great Point Energy, Rentech, Calpine, Siemens and Westinghouse. Joe holds a B.S. in Economics and Political Science from the University of Wisconsin and he received his Juris Doctor from Case Western School of Law.
